WRLT "Radio Lightning" wins its first Nashville Scene Awards as "Best Radio Station"


WRLT moves to the Zimmerman Art Gallery building on 2nd Avenue North in Downtown Nashville.

Executive Producer John Conlon arrives; Programming Director Jim Eskew returns; Jocks include Jarvis Kahler, John Conlon, Jessie Langer, Hunter Harvey, and Clark Rogers on late nights.


Chief Engineer - Gibson Prichard joins upon graduation from Mississippi State University.


GMX puts the station up for sale.  An ownership battle commences between a potential buyer (The Malkin Group) and insider led by Horton.

Rev. Keith Coes arrives in a part-time on-air role!
