1994

Dan McGrath begins hosting the "Sunday Morning Jazz Brunch" live from Mere Bulles on 2nd Avenue North downtown.



Fred Buc is elevated to Operations Manager of WRLT and a new frequency being built at 94.1 FM.


Mary Brace is hired from WEQX/Albany.

WRLT's "Dancin' in the District" outdoor concert series outgrows it's capacity on Capitol Boulevard, and the event is moved to Riverfront Park, where attendance topped-out at over 18,000 per week!


Lightning 100's sister station, Modern Rock "Thunder 94" debuts at 9:41am on 9/4/94 and signs-on with a live remote broadcast from Rio Bravo Cantina on West End Avenue. Heather Lose is hired as PD. (former Rebel 100 staffer)
